An apostille/Authentication courier plays a crucial role in the apostille/authentication process by acting as the intermediary for in-person delivery and return of documents. They facilitate the exchange between the Notary and the Tennessee Secretary of State (TN SOS), ensuring that the apostilled documents are delivered efficiently and securely. By handling the in-person logistics, the courier helps streamline the apostille process, ensuring that all documents are properly processed and returned on time

Tuesdays and Thursdays are my TN SOS days, if you have an apostille/authentication that needs to be done outside of my regularly scheduled days I can help you with that.

Secretary of State - Same day service. Customers may obtain Apostille or Authentication services in person during regular business hours which are Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. until 4:15 p.m. Central Time, with the exception of state holidays. You must arrive at our office by 2:00 p.m. in order to receive same-day service.

Responsibility of an Apostille/Authentication Courier:A courier acts as the feet on the ground, facilitating the in-person delivery and return of apostilled documents between the Notary and the Tennessee Secretary of State (TN SOS).Responsibilities of the Apostille Courier:· My responsibility as an apostille courier is to be your feet on the ground.· I am not responsible for reviewing the documents or checking to see if everything has been submitted or prepared correctly*· I have to follow TN SOS rules.· I will convey TN SOS’s response or request for more information.· My responsibility is to take what you mail to me to the Tennessee SOS and then mail the completed apostille back to you.· I will use the prepaid FEDEX or UPS pre-paid label/envelope YOU send me, or USPS Priority with tracking (which takes 3-5 days shipping time).· I do not send out regular mail.

Responsibilities of the Apostille/Authentication Agent: · Ensure that the client’s document are in order and notarized correctly. · Read and comply with the TN SOS Apostille page, their Rules & Guidelines: https://sos.tn.gov/businesses/guides/apostille-authentication-guide · Verify that Tennessee vital records and any TN County documents have been issued within the last 2 years. · Ensure documents in Spanish or other non-English languages have been translated to English. If the document needs to be Translated to Spanish, let me know, I can assist.  If the documents needs to be Translated to any other foreign language, please email me a certified translation. Or if you need the translation done I can help you and get you a quote  · Confirm that the documents are ready to be presented to the TN SOS.
