To ensure fairness and respect for everyone’s time, Knights Notary, LLC requires a deposit to confirm your appointment, balance due prior to notary signing/stamping document(s).

This policy was introduced in response to a rise in no-shows, legally unable to notarize documents, and last-minute cancellations. Your cooperation helps me maintain availability, provide timely service, and operate with the professionalism my clients expect and deserve.

🖋️ General Notary Services

$25 – First signature (per person)

$15 – Next 5 Signatures 2 to 6 (same person)

$10 - Additional Signatures 7+ (same person)

$50 – Witness (if provided by Knights Notary)

🚗 Travel & Meet-Up Fees

$40 – Travel up to 10 miles

$2/mile – For each additional mile beyond 10

$75 – Standard Healthcare Facility Visit

$100 – Same-Day or Urgent Healthcare Facility Appointment

$75 – Transit-Friendly Meet-Up (e.g., airport, bus station, etc.)
Transit-Friendly & Care Facility Appointments

Appointments at transit locations or medical/residential care facilities often require additional time, coordination, and accommodations. As such, a special service fee applies to visits at the following locations: Airports, Bus Stations, Train Stations, Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Assisted Living or Retirement Communities, Hospice or Rehabilitation Centers

Scheduling & Cancellation Policy.

To ensure a smooth experience for all clients, Knights Notary has outlined the following cancellation and eligibility policy.

Cancellations made up to 1 hour before your scheduled appointment will receive a full deposit refund.

To cancel, please call or text 931-553-3007.

Cancellations made less than 1 hour before your scheduled appointment will forfeit Travel Fee Only and you will receive a deposit refund for any other applicable deposit fees. To cancel, please call or text 931-553-3007.

Your entire deposit will be forfeited if any of the following occur:

Any signers /client provided witnesses fail to appear at the scheduled time and location (no-show).

Any signer(s) / client provided witnesses that are unable to present valid, government-issued photo identification.
Signer does not speak or read English

The document is not properly prepared or is missing required attachments (e.g., exhibits, legal pages)

Document name(s) do not match the signer’s ID
Documents are incomplete (e.g., missing information, blank sections that must be filled before signing)
Signer(s) are not signing of their own free will or appear to be under duress
Signer(s) do not understand what they are signing (e.g., due to cognitive impairment or confusion)

The notary is legally unable to complete the notarization due to missing documents, incomplete forms, or other compliance issues.

Signer(s) / witnesses are impaired (e.g., intoxicated, medicated, or otherwise unable to sign knowingly)

Intoxication includes: The signer smells strongly of alcohol or marijuana. slurring speech or having difficulty forming coherent sentences, appears drowsy, disoriented, or confused, unable to follow simple instructions or answer basic questions, unsteady or stumbling while walking or handling documents, displays exaggerated emotions (e.g., overly giggly, aggressive, or unusually withdrawn), admits to being under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or prescription medication.
